Autumn colours in Brdy´s forests are the best

The beginning of this bike trip goes through the Úslava valley, then along the Kornaticky stream through Kozel forests that are full of former strongholds, nature preserved areas and good forest roads. The trip continues from the town of Mirošov to the village of Vísky through the middle part of Brdy mountains near ruins of castles Dršťka and Homberk. The last part from Vísky is a beautifull ride downhills,it is full of nice views to the valley of Bradava with Spálené Poříčí in the distance.

This biketrip is "C" part of a packet consisted of three biketrips from Spálené Poříčí. You can use it during long week-end with a stay in Spálené Poříčí. Hotel Ve Dvoře offers ideal possibility of accomodation with certification Cyclists welcome. There is possibility to go from Pilsen to Spálené Poříčí by Brdy bike-bus.

 

All these bike trips start in Spálené Poříčí and return there. Each bike trip offers possibility of a short cut. The longest part of trip takes place on tarmac roads with low traffic, part is done on good forests roads. Mountain or trekking bike is reccommended.  If you use these bike trips you can visit famous Padrťské lakes and nature parks  Brdy, Pod Štědrým, Buková hora - Chýlava, and the others large forests in the middle and south part of Brdy mountains full of good forests roads with beautifull view to landscape of Úslava valley.
